# How Rewards Work

### BONES (Basejump In-Game Currency)

* Bones are Basejump’s in-game currency, earned by playing Broadside: Battle Mode, completing missions, and performing other actions in the Basejump platform or connected Discord Battle Buddy bot
* Bones can be purchased via fiat or crypto from <https://basejump.xyz/home>, or via credit card from Discord Activities
* Bones can be spent in Basejump on gear, cosmetics, power ups and upgrades for your Solarpunk, or to buy additional Solarpunks&#x20;
* Some items (such as Solarpunks) are also priced in USD (e.g., 1 Solarpunk = 250 BONES ≈ $20)

### IMX Gems  (Immutable Rewards System)

* IMX Gems are earned on Basejump via the seven Immutable Play Quests detailed below (see Quests & Upgrade Requirements section)

### ACTION (Ecosystem Token - Not for Sale)

* Basejump is powered by ACTION, an infinitely scalable, open and permissionless AI gaming substrate built on AO and Arweave.
